Reid Not To Bowl
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. The New Zealand captain, J. R. Reid, wrenched a muscle in his left shoulder while bowling against Central Districts on Saturday. He will not bowl again in the match. Reid said today the shoulder had improved with treatment, “but it won’t make batting any easier.”
Reid expected it would mend in time for him to bowl against Canterbury, in the match starting at Lancaster Park next Thursday.
