fix. Z. P. A .-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 8. Battle-proof suits of armour, dating from the time of King Henry VIII, which stood up to arrows, sword cuts, and lance thrusts, are being put into glass cases—as protection against London’s grimy, corrosive atmosphere. The armour, kept in the Tower of London for four centuries, has never before been cosseted against the weather. Now, it is included in an exhibition of the personal armours of English kings, princes and courtiers which opened at the tower today.
