Woodcock Fancied For Southland

INVERCARGILL, Nov. 19. Woodcock in the City Handicap and Hot Foot in the Taramoa Handicap will be a strongly favoured T.A.B. double combination at the opening of the Southland Racing Club's spring meeting at Invercargill tomorrow. Both look ready to open their winning account for the season. An on-course double will be run on the Roslyn Trial No. 1 and the Takitimu Handicap, for which Argyle Boy and Lovely Day look a likely pair. The track is in fast order and will provide excellent going.
