Yankee Hanover Might Win Franklin Cup

AUCKLAND, November 19. The Franklin Trotting Club’s meeting will be concluded at Epsom on Saturday night with large well-balanced fields, the double races being the Franklin Cup and the Karaka Handicap. Two recent winners, Yankee Hanover and Yakety Yak, are expected to dispute the first leg and the same applies in the second leg, with Oakhampton and Thunder Royal. The going will be fast. Selections:— 4.20 p.m.—Second Buckland Handicap: Flying Late, Smokey Pointer, Joe Trust. 4.50 p.m.—Pukekohe Handicap: Rosecraft, Vague, Paying Guest.
