Gold Star Mothers’ Club Anniversary
The fourteenth anniversary of the Gold Star Mothers’ Club was celebrated at a party recently. Mrs E. Paterson inesided, and welcomed members and visitors. The iced birthday cake was cut by Mrs L. Mackenzie, who wished the club well for the future. A programme of entertainment, arranged by Miss Edna i Neville, included vocal items i (Mesdames N. Hamilton, P. Flemming, A. Lesham): vioi lin solos (Miss R. Griffiths); I recitations (Miss Edna Neville). Mrs J. Cocks was the accompanist Mrs G. Ridden I thanked the artists.
