Commonwealth Links
Sir,—May I, through your columns, express regret that the Queen’s head has, of recent years, disappeared from our stamps in common usage? I regret also that the National Anthem is heard less frequently on our wireless. In the commercial world, manufacturers know that they must advertise their products or else they will be ousted by other brands. Hence I regret the lessening of manifestations of our loyalty to the British Commonwealth. I wonder if any of your readers have noticed other indica-
tions of drift away from the Commonwealth.—Yours, etc., BRITISH COMMONWEALTH November 18, 1964.
