Snell Village
The Olympic athlete, Peter Snell, has agreed to his name being used to designate the Auckland Sunday School Union’s £150,000 youth village planned for Whangaparaoa. He said he was heartily in favour of the project and would help it all he could. The group of buildings, which will now be known as the Peter Snell Youth Village, will be built on the union’s 27|-acre property three miles beyond Manly.—(P.A.)
