Died Playing Golf
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 19. The parish priest at Eltham since 1952, Father J. Garrahy collapsed and died today while he was playing a match at the Stratford Golf Club’s links. He was 65. Father Garrahy came to New Zealand from Ireland in 1925. He served in other Taranaki parishes before going to Eltham.
