Child Found Drowned
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Oct. 19. A 20-month-old child was found drowned this afternoon in a 44 gallon drum. He was Kevin Leslie Pedrana, son of Mr and Mrs K. Pedrana, of Te Anau.
Mrs Pedrana found her son in the drum which was catching a water overflow from an over-head guttering. Resuscitation was applied by several persons without success.
