EXHIBITION BY LIFE BOYS
An exhibition of art work, handwriting, and handicrafts by the Life Boys in the West Link of the Canterbury area . was opened by Mr M. A. Connelly, M.P. for Riccarton, on Saturday afternoon. All organisations must have an eye to the future and meet the challenge of changes, said Mr Connelly. Only the organisations which did this continued to give long service to the community and Government. The work of groups such as Life Boys made the work of the Government easier, he said. About 160 boys from the 9th, 12th, 13th, 26th, and 34th Christchurch teams had entries in the exhibition, which was held In the St. Peter’s Anglican Church Hall. The area supervisor (Mr W. R.
