Champion Beaten
MELBOURNE, October 17. The Australian light-weight champion, Gilbert Biondi, was defeated in a non-title bout last night by David Floyd, of Sydney, who was making his second ring appearance aftei a two-years’ spell. The referee stopped the fight In the ninth round when Floyd opened a wide gash beneath liondi's left eye.
