Financial Aid Ordered
(N.2. Prett Assn.—Copyright) NEWCASTLE, October 16. Mr Justice Taylor yesterday ordered two youths aged 17 and 16 to pay £5O each towards the confinement expenses of a 13-year-old girl. The youths are John William Lightfoot, aged 17, shop assistant, and Robert John Marjoribanks, aged 16, trainee meat inspector.
They pleaded not guilty in the Supreme Court at Newcastle to a charge of having raped the girl. The Crown accepted their plea of guilty to a second charge of carnal knowledge.
