Harewood Club’s Championship

The final of the Harewood Golf Club's senior championship between the former Otago Freyberg rosebowl player, C. G. Munro, and 18-year-old D. R Hope, produced golf of a high standard, before Munro won, 1 up, at the thirty-sixth hole. In the afternoon, Munro returned a splendid three under scratch 70 and Hope scored 71. Munro’s round included six birdies.
