C.W.I. SPRING SHOW
Record Entries There were a record 900 entries in the annual spring shew of the Canterbury Federation ' of Country Women’s Institutes, held at Glentunnel on Tuesday. Institute members from all over Canterbury competed. Mrs I. Cooke (Mairehau Institute) won the trophy for gaining most points in the show. The judges, from the Department of Agriculture, were Misses A. Couston, A. Borrie. Mrs G. Kingsbury, Mr K. H. Marcussen. The show was organised by a committee convened by Mrs E. J.
