Ionosphere Research Aided By Graphs
Graphs from which upperair physicists may read off rates of electron production and loss in the ionosphere have been contributed to the “Journal of Aatmospheric and Terrestrial Physics,” a British scientific journal, by Messrs G. A, M. King and M. D. Lawden, of the Geophysical Observatory of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Christchurch. The graphs, which are based on a theory developed by the authors, are expected to be of great help to ionosphere physicists, as quantities which formerly took two hours or more to calculate may now be read straight from the appropriate graph.
