Czechs Now Withdraw
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PARIS,' October 1. Czechoslovakia has withdrawn from the first women's world teams golf championship, to be played on the St. Germain course, Paris. The Czech players, who would have been the first from the Iron Curtain country to compete at an international golf event since the Second W'orld War, withdrew on instrucUons from their Ministry of Sport. The Ministry said it considered the two-member team of Mrs Hanna Brozoca, a former naUonal champion, and Mrs Edith Soukalova was not yet compeUUvely competent to take part in the world championship.
Smallest Entry.—The twoman Monaco delegation—an official and a weight-lifter—-which arrived at Tokyo on Wednesday, is the smallest delegation for the Olympics. —(Special Correspondent, A.A.P.).
