SALE OF BEER IN KEGS
Six Licensees Appeal Six Christchurch hotel licensees are appealing to the Licensing Control Commission against a decision of the Canterbury Licensing Committee granting Bishop and Company, Limited, and Maling and Company, Limited, extensions of their wholesale licences to authorise the sale of beer or stout in kegs. Those appealing are Messrs B. W. Lawrence, (Club Hotel), J. V. McCormack (New Brighton Hotel), R. L. Moffat (Carlton Hotel), L. J. Mitchell (Bush In Hotel), A. F. G. McGregor (Prince of Wales Hotel), and P. A. Smith (Embassy Hotel). The appeal will be heard in Christchurch on October 13.
