Forced Landing With III Girl
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 30. A private aeroplane carrying a girl from Whakatane to Auckland was forced to land at Tauranga for some time because of bad weather today. The girl, who was taken to Auckland Hospital, is suspected to have tetanus. She is Joyce Eveline Vercoe, aged nine, daughter of Mr H. Vercoe, of Whakatane.
