CURRENT NOTES
Talk On Jury Service.— Mrs Helen Garrett gave a talk on jury service at a recent meeting of the Women’s Electrical Association. Later, all members present agreed that they felt much more confident about fulfilling their duties as jurors if called upon, said a report from the meeting. Mrs G. M. Samson presided and Miss A. Brundall presented Mrs Garrett with a spray of flowers in appreciation of her talk. Sacred Heart P.P.A.—The Sacred Heart College Past Pupils’ Association held its first dinner party at the Horizon Restaurant recently. Those present were welcomed by the president (Mrs A. E. B. Turner). An informal social evening was held afterwards.
