£486 THEFT
Electrical Shop Entered
A television set, transistor and mantel radios, irons and toasters and 68 single-play records, worth a total of £486. were stolen when Ritchie TV and Electrical, Ltd., 110 Wilsons road, was broken into at the week-end.
The managing-director of the firm (Mr G. Ritchie) said that the goods stolen were insured against
On Sunday night, burglars took a safe, containing about £390 in cheques, from the office of Steve Christenson and Company, Ltd., a car sales and spray painting firm, in Peterborough street. Tobacco, films and foodstuffs, worth £B2, were stolen from Prebbles Food Market, Springs road. Clothing worth £53 was stolen from Ray’s Drapery, also in Springs road.
The cafeteria in the premises of Motor Assemblies, Ltd.. Ensors road, was broken into at the week-end and three shillings stolen. Cigarettes were ■ taken when Bottings’ I.G.A. store, Wycola avenue, was broken into.
