Long Service To Diocese

WELLINGTON, June 29. Chancellor to the Anglican Diocese of Wellington, Mr H. E. Evans, who has served under five archbishops and four bishops, will retire from that position. He has served under Archbishops Julius, Averill, WestWatson, Owen and Lesser and Bishops Sprott, Holland, Owen and Baines. Mr Evans has served the diocese for 48 years in various offices.
