Guide Dog On Aircraft
Two passengers on £ special charter aircraft carrying Auckland Round Table members to the Christchurch convention this evening will be Mr P. Samways and his Aus-tralian-trained guide dog. Totally blind, Mr Samways is an honorary member of the Round Tabie. The Round Table organisation was instrumental in forming the New Zealand Foundation for the Blind’s guide dog committee, on which it is represented by three members. Last year, the organisation adopted the provision of guide dogs as a national project.
