Golden Wedding
Mr and Mrs F. L. Horne., of 31 Remuera avenue. Christchurch, celebrated their golden wedding on Saturday. They were married by the' late Rev. T. Stinson, in the! Trinity Church, Timaru, on: May 23, 1914. Mrs Horne was the former Miss Edith Violet O'Rourke. Mr Horne had his own business as a plumber ini Christchurch from 1922. until he retired because of illhealth in 1945. He was president of the North CanterburyMaster Plumbers’ Association in 1942, and of the New Zealand Federation of Master Plumbers in 1943.
