LICENCE TO TRAIN
(HZ. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 15. The A.J.C. committee today gave the former jockey, A. Ward, a No. 1 trainer’s licence. Ward, who has been training in Melbourne during the last few years, will return to Sydney at the week-end and has secured stables at Randwick.
He has two horses already in training, a brother to Clear Springs and a New Zealand horse. Swindler, and also has three two-year-olds out "spelling.
