Table Tennis Squads
The Canterbury representative table tennis selectors. Messrs R. G. Hart, A. B. McCallum and T. Poynton. have selected the following players to attend a representative practice starting next Friday evening at the Christchurch Poultry Club’s Hall:

Coral Sea Anniversary.— A United States military party, led by Genera! Hamilton Howze, will arrive in Auckland on Monday afternoon for the twenty-second anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea.—(P.A.)
Removing Scorch Marks.— Wet scorch marks on linen and cotton with cold water and lay the article out in hot sunshine. This treatment should completely remove the marks if the fibres are not burnt through.
