Record, Ace At Tournament
E. H. Richards set a new course record and L. G. Bryant holed-in-one at the Hororata Open golf tournament. Richards, a Canterbury Freyberg representative, returned a card of 64 to better his -record by two strokes. He wor the senior championship at the tournament with a 36-hole aggregate of 135. Bryant holed-in-one at the 122 yard Short hole. He used a number eight iron.
