ANZAC DAY POLICY
Present Form Supported (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 23. For the forthcoming Anzac Day, the Wellington Returned Services’ Association intends to pursue the policy adopted at the New Zealand R.S.A. Dominion conference in 1963. That conference deprecated any movement for the lessening of the significance of Anzac Day and called on former servicemen to support its observance according to the form followed through the years.
Whether the R.S.A. may alter its views and support a change in the form of observance will depend on the decision made at this year’s N.Z.R.S.A. Dominion Council meeting, said the R.S.A. secretary (Mr A. J. Baigent).
