Close Test Captain?
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 19. The Yorkshire captain, D. B. Close, is the big tip to lead England in the cricket tests against Australia this year. E. R. Dexter, it was felt, would be too busy with politics to tackle the job, writes Crawford White in the “Daily Express.” White said that a sound case could be built for Close to be given his chance.
