LEIGH (Lancashire), Mar. 19.
Britain overwhelmed France, by 39 points (nine goals, seven tries) to nil in a Rugby League international yesterday. N. Fox, the British centre three-quarters was in magnificent form, scoring 21 points —a try, two penalties and seven conversions.
A. Hardisty scored two tries, and M. Dixon, G. Smith, D. Parker and G. Jordan one each.
