Coman (East Christchurch - Shirley) had unexpected—and unintentional generosity granted to him by Lancaster Park on Saturday. Coman played a ball from B. Andrews through the coven and ran two while P. Andrews fielded the balL The latter then returned to the bowler’s end but as A. Q- Duckmanton was unable to reach it, another two were - ran. ■ \ , R..M, Gearey retrieved the ball near the boundary and returned to L P. Anderson, ' the wicketkeeper. However, it beat Anderson and P. Bl ' Wight, who was backingup, and went for another. four—a total of eight runs from one hit.
