Offence '"‘Too Prevalent” “The Court cannot but regard the offence of burglary as a very serious offence, and it is far too prevalent,” said Mr Justice Macarthur when sentencing Robert Ralph Dynes in the Supreme Court yesterday. Dynes, aged 22, a workman, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on each of two charges of burglary on December 8, the sentences to be concurrent. After the sentence he will be on probation for one year. For Dynes, Mr R. G. Blunt submitted that he was a good worker who was determined to make something of himself. . Mr C. M. Roper appeared for the Crown.
