HASTINGS, February 14. -In spite of a brilliant 61 by the New Zealand batsman, M. G. F. Shriimpton, Nelson requires only 143 runs with all its second innings wickets in hand to beat Hawke’s Bay and retain the Hawke Cup. Shnimpton, who played some majestic drives, helped Hawke’s Bay to make a much improved effort in its second innings. Apart from Shrimp-ton, who batted ’ for only 70 minutes, D.
