A. Passmore). One position is available at the level of Professorial Fellow, Senior Fellow or Fellow, the nature of the appointment to be determined in accordance with the candidate’s qualiI fieations. The duties of this position will include active participation in the supervision and teaching of doctoral candidates, including the responsibility for the conduct of seminars, but candidates must provide clear evidence of their capacity and desire to engage in their own philosophical investigations, for which the greater part of their time will be available. While width of interest would be an advantage, the candidate's main field of interest should be within such fields as philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, epistemology or philosophical logic. The salary of a Professorial Fellow is at present determined within the limits of £A3550 —4050 per annum; of a Senior Fellow, £A3300-3850; of a Fellow £A2400-3300 per annum. Study leave provisions range up to one year’s leave on full pay, together with a study leave grant, in every six years, for a Senior or Professorial Fellow, and one year in seven for a Fellow. Two posts are available at the level of Research Fellow. Responsibilities are as for the fellowships, except that candidates will have lesser teaching duties.
