7000 Guineas Paid For Bull
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 14. New Zealand cattle breeders are continuing to be active at bull sales in the United Kingdom. At the St. Bowell’s sale of Aberdeen Angus bulls which were judged by a New Zealander, Mr J. V. Evans, of Palmerston North, the champion, Emanate of Haymount, sired by Banner of Belladrum, was bought by Mr John Macfarlane of the Waiterenui partnership, Hastings, at 7000gns. This is the top price paid by a New Zealand buyer overseas this season.
