Trade Posts
The Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association was extremely interested in the Government’s move to establish more trade posts overseas, said the president of the association (Mr R. G. Pearce) yesterday, addressing members of the association at an informal meeting with Mr Davys, who is to be in charge of the trade post to be established in Athens. ‘Wherever New Zealand has extended its interests it has also extended its trade potential,” Mr Pearce said: “We are extremely pleased as manufacturers that the Government has adopted the policy of extending and improving the trade commission service.”
