Captain E. A. de Wilton, United States Medical Corps, the new senior medical officer of the United States Navy’s Antarctic support force, has arrived in Christchurch to take up his duties. He replaces Lieutenant-Com-mander R. Millington. Captain de Wilton has been posted from the Nava’. Aviation Safety Centre. Norfolk. Virginia. Mr D. W. Caldwell has been appointed a member of the Stock Remedies Registration Board as a representative of the New Zealand Veterinary Association. Mr H. G. Shanks, of Fairlie. has been appointed a coroner. He replaces Mr B. W. Perrin, who has resigned.
