No Statement On Inquiry
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb, 12. There will be no public statement issued on the findings of the police inquiry into alleged slowness in answering a call to an assault in Lucerne road, Remuera, last week, Chief Superintendent A. G. Quin said today. He said: “I think the public was entitled to know that an inquiry was being held into the matter. But it was a purely domestic inquiry and I see no need for making Any further public statement.”
