Hornby Reserves

Sir.—ln April the Paparua County Council took over the reserves and domains of the Templeton Domain Board, part of the take-over arrangement being that three of the board members were to be members of a reserves committee of the council. Messrs F. C. Chappell. J. G. Carter.! and A. C. Loach were; appointed. Other non-cour>-jlors added to the committee! i were Messrs R. E. Heenan■ and E. C. BritnelL of the I Hornby and Sockburn County Town Committees respectively. On November 4 the ! council reformed its committees and the foregoing members were dropped without any forewarning, explanation, or publicity.
