N.Z. Woods
Sir,—Your article on Saturday cn a display of New Zealand woods is rather awiy. When has birch ever been indigenous to New Zealand? And what is . akiaki? Could it to ake ake? And honeysuckle rewa-rewa has it really migrated as far south of the Marlborough Sounds as the Coast? Of course you may be planning to add to the confusion of colloquial names. Or would our Commonwealth brethren prefer not to be enlightened? —Yours, etc., COASTER. Novemtor 4, 1963.
