£50 Raised At Bring-And-Buy
The annual bring-and-buy organised by the ladies’ auxiliary of the Christchurch Harmonic Society raised £5O for the choir’s funds. It was held at Elizabeth House and members were welcomed by the president (Mrs D. E. Wilson). A spray was presented to Mrs J. L. Norton, a former secretary of the auxiliary, who is leaving Christchurch. Artiste who provided a musical programme included Mrs Diane Parsons (soprano), Mirs Lee Price (contralto) and Mr Rodney Macann (bass). Mrs W. E. Olds was the accompanist.
