57.6 d Average (N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU, November 13. Wool sold at the Timaru sale last month averaged 57.56 d per lb, compared with 43.40 d for the corresponding sale last year, according to figures supplied today by the South Canterbury Woolbrokers’ Association. Proceeds amounted to £1,696,641 (£1,224,565 last year). The average per bale was £75 16s (£5B Ils 6d). Bales offered totalled 22,387 (21.020), of which 22,383 bales (20,906) were sold.
