Borstal For Car Conversion
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 13. “I wish I could order you to be deported, but you are only 17 and have been in New Zealand for 10 years,’’ Mr L. M. Inglis, SM, told Carl Fuatavai, in the Magistrate’s Court at Hamilton today. Fuatavai appeared for sentence for converting a car which later hit a power pole of Ngaruawahia, killing one of the passengers. Fuatavai was given a Borstal term.
