Mr G. C. Ballard has been appointed general manager of British Paints (New Zealand) Ltd.. Auckland. Mr Ballard recently arrived from Australia where he has been manager of the Newcastle branch of British Paints (Australia) Pty., Ltd.
Mr J. R. Turnbull, accountant for the Bank of New Zealand at Motueka since 1959. has been appointed manager at Reefton. Mr Turnbull joined the bank at Waimate in 1924.
Mr C. D. Baker, of Dunedin, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the board of the National Insurance Company of New Zealand, Ltd., caused by the retirement of Mr C. W. Birch.
