“Cannot Stand Aloof” (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. November 12. Traditional dairy products could not stand aloof from the forces of energy created by the advance of science and technology, Mr L. V. Phillips, chairman of the Milk Board, told the Market Milk Week Conference today. But the marketers of dairy products could attempt to keep their house in good order, he said. All decisions concerning the industry made now must be right to provide a foundation for it 25 years hence. “I believe there is a general aw’areness in the industry of maintaining high quality, adequate supply and good costs and prices."
