Major I. R. Diggle, Royal New Zealand Artillery, has been appointed chief of staff Northern Military District headquarters, Auckland. He will take up duty this month with the rank of lieutenantcolonel. He will succeed Lieutenant-Colonel R. J. H. Webb, who has gone to a post in the Ministry of Defence— (P.A.)
