Not Even For Beatles
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, November 1.
Two Beatles’ show tickets for one ticket for tomorrow’s match between Aberavon-Neath and the All Blacks.
That was yesterday’s barter rate in Wales—and no takers, the “Daily Express” reported. The newspaper said the spark from J. Uzzell’s drop goal which beat the All Blacks at Newport has fired all Wales. More than 50,000 people are expected to watch the match.
Footnote: The Beatles are a popular English singing group.
