Kalkoral and Albion won in the opening matches of the season and now the four team* ar* separated by less than a point Kalkoral lead* with 16 competition point*, and Albion is fourth with 15.30 point*. Features of today's play were the fine bowling of J. N. Graves, who took eight Albion wickets for Grange at a cost of 78 runs, and the batting ot Albion captain and Otago selector, L. D. Smith, who made a skilled 72. For Dunedin against Kaikorai. F. J. Cameron scored a good batting double of 57 and 37 as an opener and then he took five wickets for 31 run* in Kalkoral'* first inning*.
