Dave Hill shot a one underscratch 69, yesterday, to retain his lead after three rounds of the Denver open golf tournament, United Press International reported.
The 26-year-old Michigan professional had a 54-hole total of 204. two strokes in front of the nearest contender. Jacky Cupit. Cupit had a 68 for a 206.
Bruce Crampton, of Australia. had a 74—his worst round of the tournament—and dropped well back with a 215 total. R. J. Charles, of New Zealand, had a disastrous day to finish even further back, on 218.
