The Post Office soap powder dispute obviously arose after the annual report of the Post Office, tabled in Parliament today, was writtea “Morale throughout the department is high and good employer-employee relations continue as a background to successful departmental endeavour.” says the report. “The Post Office Association continues its task of seeking the best conditions for its members, but always in the knowledge that good conditions can stem only from an efficient organisation that is doing its job and fulfilling its objective.”
