WINNER FOR THIRD TIME.—Mr D. E. Coakley, of Halswell (left), receives the Butchers' Cup from Mr B. M. Owens, president of the Canterbury Meat Retailers’ Association, at the Addington saleyards yesterday. The cup is awarded for a pen of three steers not over three years old on June 1, 1963, and likely to dress out under 8001b exhibited at the Grand National Fat Stock Show. This week Mr Coakley won the cup for the third year in succession. After presenting it to him, Mr Owens purchased the steers for £75 each.
